The Eastern European Business and Economics Journal provides an international forum for the dissemination of research and development in the fields of business and economics. The Journal aims to stimulate dialogue between scientists, policy makers, executives, and business persons in worldwide.
The Eastern European Business and Economics Journal publishes previously unpublished, high-quality scientific papers in the field of economics and business, which have undergone a selection process and conform to common ethical standards.
The Journal is international, but for publication, only articles in English are accepted.
We accept papers related to both European and world-wide economic problems.
An article submitted for publication must be original and not under review at any other journal.
When an article is published, it becomes the property of the journal.
Empirical, theoretical, and methodological articles from all major fields of business and economics are accepted in the journal. The journal also publishes research and application papers, detailed case studies and review articles, as well as short communications and discussions. We accept papers related to both European and world-wide economic problems. The scope of the journal includes, but is not restricted to:

To be included in the journal, a manuscript must make strong contributions to the field.
We are indexed in some of the world’s biggest economic databases, including the American Economic Association’s database (EconLit) and Research Papers in Economics (RePEc). This ensures easy access to published articles via the Internet or via second-level databases such as Google Scholar. We are under evaluation for possible coverage in the Web of Science (Thomson Reuters). Additional, the organizing committee plans to index the journal in EBSCO and SCOPUS.
The article selection procedure consists of several stages:
1) When the application is received, the organising committee evaluates the technical and ethical relevance of the application.
2) After this stage, the article is transferred for double-blind peer review to at least three editors. The editors are responsible for assessing the quality, content and contribution of the submission.
The Eastern European Business and Economics Studies Centre (Latvia), in cooperation with the Russian System Dynamics Society (Russia), publishes the Eastern European Business and Economics Journal.
